PSYCHSCOUT POLICIES

EEA and UK privacy enquiries

Information for people asking how their data is used in PsychScout.

Revised September 17, 2026

Contact information needs a lawful basis

A professional email address is not automatically outside data-protection law. Buying a list does not establish consent or a lawful basis for a buyer’s campaign. Where GDPR or UK data-protection law applies, the processing and communication must satisfy the requirements relevant to that activity.

Ask about your record

Use Privacy requests to ask about a record’s source, use, correction, removal, or an objection to processing. Explain which record and right your request concerns. Applicable rights can also include restriction, portability, consent withdrawal where consent is relied on, and a complaint to the relevant supervisory authority.

No blanket GDPR guarantee

The label of this legacy URL is not a certification or a promise that every campaign is lawful. Details such as the controller’s identity, applicable lawful basis, and international-transfer arrangements must reflect actual operations, not a generic template.
